'TheCommonConsciousness' was born from a simple vision: to share true Neapolitan pizzas with Rome. The Romano family founded our pizza shop in 1985, starting as a quaint, family-owned shop with recipes passed down from previous generations.
Our founder, Mia Romano, honed her pizza craft while exploring Italy, learning from Naples' finest pizza artisans—the originators of pizza. After her time in Italy, she returned to the UK with a mission to replicate the essence of Italian pizza, maintaining traditional techniques and sourcing only superior ingredients.
Our small pizzeria, initially with just 12 seats, has since evolved into an esteemed local fixture, yet our devotion to craftsmanship and genuineness remains unchanged. We adhere to classic wood-fired baking methods, prepare our dough fresh each day, and select only the best supplies for our pizzas.
Currently, 'TheCommonConsciousness' is still kept within the family, with the Romano progeny overseeing our talented team. While we've incorporated some contemporary touches, the core of our operation stays rooted in producing scrumptious, authentic pizzas that gather folks around the table.
